„Stimmungsgemäß innig bezauberten sie mit wunderschönem Wohlklang auf tiefromantische Weise.“
Memminger Zeitung, 29.09.2022
The Austrian cellist Marilies Guschlbauer and the German pianist Julia Rinderle began their musical collaboration in autumn 2020 in Berlin and since then have regularly played concerts in Germany and abroad as a permanent duo.
Her focus is on themed programs, which she also moderates herself. With their programs “Im Volkston”, “Sehnsucht” and “Les Grandes Dames” they have already undertaken two extensive concert tours through Germany and Austria and have subsequently been engaged for numerous other concerts in 2023 and 2024.
Working with works by female composers is particularly important to both musicians, and so they regularly perform lesser-known works.
They will record their debut CD with a focus on the works of Rita Strohl in 2023.
Both musicians are also successful soloists and winners of international competitions and give concerts in various chamber music ensembles. They have made guest appearances in renowned halls such as the Tivoli Concert Hall in Copenhagen, the Vienna Concert Hall, the Vienna Music Association, the Berlin Concert Hall and at festivals such as the Köthen Bach Festival, the Mecklenburg-Western Pomeranian Festival, the Salzburg Chamber Music Festival, the Quincena Musical San Sebastian and the Chamber Music Festival curl house. Successful tours have already taken them to Japan, China, Mexico and the USA, as well as to numerous European countries.
